© Provided by Steelers WireBy this time next week, we will know which two teams are in the Super Bowl. Unfortunately, the Pittsburgh Steelers took an early exit from the playoffs and will be forced to watch from home.
As if it doesn’t sting enough that the Steelers made such an unceremonious exit from the playoffs isn’t enough, there are two former Steelers one game away from the Super Bowl who are the most divisive former players of the Mike Tomlin era.

Of course, we are talking about Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Antonio Brown and Kansas City Chiefs running back Le’Veon Bell. Both players left the Steelers on horrible terms and now find themselves in very different roles but on very talented football teams.
It’s remarkable to think that just two seasons ago, both of these guys were lobbying to not only be considered the best players at their respective positions but also demanding to be the highest-paid. They were also the two loudest and most troublesome players on the roster and did as much harm as help to the Steelers plans.
Now both players find themselves in very humbling positions. Both players are out of the starting lineup and are tiny parts of their team’s offenses. Bell has six rushing yards on two carries in the playoffs and Brown as one catch for 10 yards.
Yet both guys are being quiet. Two players who couldn’t stay out of their own way on social media while they were in Pittsburgh now seem to be on their best behavior. Is this just in response to being humbled by their circumstances or do we look back at the environment within the Steelers organization as more open to this sort of behavior?
But I have a question for Steeler Nation? Does having Bell and Brown on teams in the conference title games impact your rooting interest one way or another? Let us know.
